Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness Level II

We are excited to welcome back Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen to Nalanda West to continue teaching on Progressive Stages of Meditation on Emptiness. Stay tuned for more news leading up to the event. We will be holding special sessions to review teachings by Acharya given in January. All are welcome!

The Buddha described the genuine reality of our experience as “emptiness.” While this word may be daunting for those living regular lives, even the most ordinary of us can, in gradual stages, access this understanding that brings genuine joy and fulfillment. We are fortunate to have Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen at Nalanda West again to give us practical, down-to-earth tools to help anyone begin the journey of discovering who they truly are.

In level II of the Progressive Stages on the Meditation of Emptiness, we begin to look at how integral our own minds are in the creation of our own world. Using the Buddhist philosophical tenet system of the Cittamatra, or Mind-Only, as a basis for our investigation, we come to see how our objective reality is not so solid and fixed as it may appear to be.
