Sunday Open Meditation: A Mind Training Approach to the Four Reminders with Acharya Tashi

The Four Reminders are also known as Four Thoughts that Turn the Mind Towards Dharma. These contemplations include our precious human birth, impermanence and death, karma (cause and effect), and the sufferings of samsara. By reflecting on these reminders within a mind training or lojong context, we can bring these reminders into our everyday life.

Kum Nye – Tibetan Yoga

The Kum Nye system help overcome problems with stress or difficulties in entering meditation. The massage and movement exercises of Kum Nye shape a path of physical ease and meditative calm that stimulates mental and physical energy. Kum Nye exercises heal the separation between body and mind and promote a relaxed, natural awareness that easily deepens toward meditative concentration.

Losar 2026: Welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse

Nalandabodhi invites you to greet the new year in community on Losar. Sangha members (and Seattle local sangha friends) are invited to join in person at Nalanda West or online.
Losar is the Tibetan new year and a time for clearing obstacles, setting aspirations, and making offerings to the three jewels. It is also a time for Nalandabodhi to come together as a community, practice the dharma, and renew our bonds of fellowship with one another.
