In this workshop we will explore how the Buddhist teachings on the bardo can be a guide to keeping our hearts open when life seems to fall apart.
Susan will draw from her new book, Which Way is Up?, as a guide for meeting the bardos of everyday life by understanding three different kinds of fear.

On the Mahayana path, the path of the great vehicle, we engage in the two accumulations of merit and wisdom by practicing the Six Paramitas: Generosity, Discipline, Patience, Diligence, Meditation, and Wisdom.

Kum Nye - Tibetan Yoga

Kum Nye (Tibetan Yoga) is a practice based on traditional Tibetan healing knowledge that incorporates breathing and movement exercises, meditation and self-massage. Kum Nye relaxes the body and mind, opens the senses, improves energy flow and inner balance, and promotes healing.

Nalandabodhi Seattle is pleased to announce a short series of teachings on Bodhichitta with special guest teacher Lama Karma Chötso.
Bodhichitta, the Mind of Awakening, refers to both relative and ultimate compassion, compassion being a necessary part of following the Mahayana or Great Path. How do we find that within us? Once found, how do we foster and nurture the relative to finally realize ultimate compassion? These Sunday teachings and discussions will introduce contemplations and practices to assist practitioners on this path.
