Mind Training – a book discussion group on the 59 Lojong Slogans

Oct 17, 2019, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

“In all activities, train with slogans.”

Atisha (980-1052 CE) was an Indian adept who brought to Tibet a systematized approach to bodhicitta (the desire to awaken for the sake of all sentient beings) and loving-kindness, through working with these slogans.

Thursdays, October 10th – December 19th

This informal book discussion group will explore the classical 59 lojong (mind training) slogans, based on the commentary by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Training the Mind and Cultivating Loving-Kindness.

Includes sitting meditation, songs of realization, and good conversation about the meaning of these pithy and profound teachings.

All are welcome. By donation.
